Ambassador

For the past 20 years, Craig has supported a variety of charities and fundraising events.

“Some of these charities were close to home and others were just really great causes centred around fundraising for education and prevention or just to help those in need. It made sense on a lot of levels to get involved and lend my support however I could, particularly because a lot of their awareness campaigns and fundraising activations were centred around swimming, cycling and/or running events. It feels really good to help, either through promoting events or actually getting involved and taking part, especially when you see first hand the amazing work these organisations do.”

Charities

The KIDS (Kids In Dangerous Situations) Foundation was established in 1993 by Dr. Susie O’Neill, a pre-school and primary school teacher.

KIDS is an organisation dedicated to injury prevention and injury recovery for children. They devote time and resources to helping injury and trauma survivors and their families rebuild their lives as well as implementing extensive education programs focusing on prevention. Craig has served as a KIDS Foundation Ambassador since 2007.

The Make Bullying History Foundation, founded by Brett and Terrisa Murray, is dedicated to eradicating bullying, in all its forms, in schools across Australia.

They run extensive school education and leadership programs targeting the entire school community (students, teachers and parents), identifying the causes and effects of bullying and preventative measures. Craig became a MBHF global ambassador in 2015.

The Sydney2CAMberra is an awareness and charity fundraising ride to support friends and families touched by stillbirth, infant and child loss.

All the money raised is donated to The Stillbirth Foundation Australia, Red Nose (formerly SIDS and KIDS) and other reputable charities that help support those in need.

The St. George and Sutherland Medical Research Foundation raises both funds and awareness for the vital work of the medical researchers at St. George and Sutherland Hospitals, two of Australia’s leading teaching hospitals. Craig has been an ambassador for their major fundraising activity, The Beachside Dash, since 2019.
